The GeForce RTX 4060 is out this week, and NVIDIA let us check out the new mainstream GPU early to see what DLSS 3 brings to Cyberpunk 2077 and the still-gorgeous Night City with ray-tracing set to 'Ultra.' Benchmarking it against the previous-gen GeForce RTX 3060 and the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER, the results are impressive.

And Valve even acknowledged the Southern Hemisphere and the fact it's actually winter here, and not summer (now all it needs to do is also acknowledge we still don't have SteamDecks here and get on that little issue). The sale starts on June 30 at 3am AEST for Aussies, and will end on July 14 at the same time.

Honestly, I am not one into divination or tarot or any of that stuff, but there's a certain charm oozing from Deconstructeam's tarot-builder and narrative adventure game, The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, that is almost irresistible. And today's latest trailer where we meet some its cast only solidifies that.

Initially headlined by a deep-dive into Pikmin 4, Nintendo used its latest Nintendo Direct to unveil remasters of Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2, as well as a "visually enhanced" version of Luigi's Mansion 2. In addition to those, an updated version of the Square Enix favourite, Super Mario RPG, was also unveiled.

However, it was Super Mario: Wonder that really stole to the presentation -- an all-new 2D side-scrolling Super Mario Bros. experience and it's out later this year.

You've seen the rest, now for the Nintendo best? The month of June, previously known as E3 month, is now a scattered and staggered outlay of gaming information that spans the whole of the month, with Nintendo seemingly closing out the financial year with its own Nintendo Direct, and given it's scheduled to run at 40 minutes, we're likely to see some cool stuff.

Having been playing this build of the game for the better part of a week, I can confidently say you should be getting pretty amped over this new entry in the open-world survival genre. Overnight the team at Far From Home -- a studio made up of industry veterans -- shared the PC specs for the game alongside a new Early Access launch trailer.

If you missed our very clear desire for the upcoming Gord from developer Covenant.dev, you can find your own desire for it right now as a demo for the game has joined the seemingly millions of others filling up Steam Next Fest. And while that is a clear exaggeration on actual proceedings, our want for this game is not.

In an interview with Star Wars Outlaws' game director, Mathias Karlson, and narrative director, Navid Khavari, we asked about the structure of the open-world and if it would follow in the footsteps -- from a cadence perspective -- of other Ubisoft open-world games, to which they answered, in a nut shell 'not quite'.

And that is two very contrasting styles of game (classic Devolver), but two of which we've been pretty pumped for here -- Wizard with a Gun from Galvanic Games and The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood from Deconstructeam. Both are ready to be nabbed right now too.

As what has effectively become the permanent E3 replacement, Summer Game Fest continues to grow year on year, this year offering up an even more hands-on IRL footprint, taking place in Downtown, LA. A number of games across a broad spectrum of Triple-A through to Indies was available to gawk at, and this year Geoff Keighley and co. voted on 15 of the most anticipated playable games at the event.

During Summer Game Fest we were invited to take part in a series of hands-on and off sessions for a number of games from Ubisoft as part of Ubisoft Forward. One of the games we got hands-on tie with was the freshly-revealed Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown -- a reset of the series overall and one brimming with style.

On top of playing, we also got to speak to the game's art-director, Jean-Christophe Alessandri for lots of insight into the game's lengthy dev cycle and what the team hopes it is achieving with this, essentially, reboot.

Diablo IV is here, and based on the game breaking sales records left, right, and center, odds are you're deep in your journey in Sanctuary with an army of skeletons, a fire dispensing staff, or a giant two-handed mace. It's no secret that Diablo is one of my all-time favourite franchises, and even though it has taken a minute to put together my thoughts after many hours, here's our full review.

But that's not bad, as the first-person RPG set in the Pillars of Eternity universe is all about story, characters, and companions. In fact based on interviews with the development team after the game's big Xbox Games Showcase reveal, companions aren't optional - in Avowed, it's all about exploring and adventuring as a tight-knit crew with swords, spells, and flintlock pistols in hand.

Announced a couple of years ago, Frostpunk 2, the sequel to brilliantly bleak city-builder, Frostpunk, is on track for a 2024 release on PC. Developer 11-bit studios announced the release window alongside the debut of a new cinematic trailer for the game. One that really captures the tone of the original, albeit in a more industrial-oil-fire-gone-wrong way.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora from Ubisoft's Massive Entertainment (The Division, Star Wars Outlaws) was announced a while ago, but with its release now confirmed for December 2, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, we've got a meaty in-game story trailer plus a gameplay breakdown. There's a lot to take in, and it's impressive - a Far Cry-like first-person open-world action-adventure game set on Pandora with guns, bows, space fauna, and giant blue aliens.
