A trailer last week for Dying Light highlighted 180 days with the first-person zombie adventure title, and showcased a stack of content still incoming for Techland's smash hit, including a teaser for vehicles. Today, the studio also revealed a full expansion for the game, which we'll learn more about at this year's Gamescom.
"For Dying Light: The Following we’re adding a number of bold game-changers to create one massive expansion," says producer Tymon Smektala via press release. "Something big that will give the game a brand-new flavor. The new map alone is the same size as all the previous maps from Dying Light combined, so there is a lot we’re packing in here.
"We also kept a close eye on player feedback to help tailor what we’ve created here. Hopefully people will see that this new expansion is first and foremost, for the fans."
The new expansion will be free for anyone who bought into the Season Pass, but will also be available on its own. No release date has yet been revealed.
