Amidst the stellar 2012 new release catalogue, there's also been a few well-timed HD re-releases of classic games, two of which we bring to you today in reviewed form.

Industry veteran Patch Kolan joins the AusGamers review team and pops his green and gold cherry with reviews of both ICO and Shadow of the Colossus for the PS3. These classic, critically acclaimed titles have been fully remastered in HD and feature stereoscopic 3D support as well as all the modern PS3 trimmings you would expect. They come as a single package, but we've reviewed them as stand-alone games for easier digestion.

Click here for ICO and here for Shadow of the Colossus.

Do want.
Recently bought a PS3 for the soul purpose ( ha harrr ) of Dark Souls after playing through Demon's Souls twice on a few characters. Will definitely be after this one after a fleeting glimpse of it back when it first came out. Glad to hear it holds up to the test of time.
