The latest wireless headset from HyperX cranks up the wireless with the addition of Wireless Qi charging. Which is something you don't see everyday, especially in the realm of the gaming headset. Elsewhere the new HyperX Cloud Flight S offers up 30-hours of battery life, a comfortable build, and high-quality sound.

Which as we found in our review, seems to apply to stereo only.
As far as 7.1 virtual surround goes, HyperX still feels a step behind the competition. In execution the Cloud Flight S’s surround feels overly harsh on the high-end frequencies – which unfortunately you can’t really tweak with the limited HyperX NGenuity software. Something that when you factor in the price, makes the Cloud Flight S a strange proposition. In that the surround isn’t up to par with the excellent stereo balance found in the drivers. Where crisp highs, a detailed mid-range, and warm bass response are the order of the day.
