The global company that is Wargaming has offices and studios located all over the world. With one of those being Wargaming Sydney. To coincide with the recent release of the excellent World of Warships: Legends for consoles we had the chance to speak to the team and discuss its role in bringing the game to PlyStation 4. Spoiler alert: the handled the PS4 port.

And we spoke to Team Lead and Senior Expert Software Engineer, Scott McMillan.

“We did get it running [on PS4] and it didn't take a huge amount of time,” Scott recalls the earlier moments of bringing Legends to PlayStation 4. “But there's a difference between having something run and having it run well. Of course, you’re trying to make it look nice, but using the system efficiently that's where a lot of the challenge came in.”
