In that there's already a Steam listing up and everything - with a Summer 2020 release window (that being Winter 2020 for us southern hemispherics) for Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. Yeah, one of the defining PlayStation 4 exclusives from this console generation is now coming to PC.

But, three years after its 2017 debut so there's that. In addition to including the base-game and expansion we can probably expect visual updates and support for higher frame-rates. On that front we'll have to wait to see what's in store, as the Steam page currently has placeholder images from the PS4 Pro version of the game.

To answer the question of what this means for PlayStation and exclusive games going forward a new interview with former Guerilla head Hermen Hulst, who's now Head of PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios noted that this doesn't mean that all games will now be coming to PC day and date.

"Releasing one first-party AAA title to PC doesn’t necessarily mean that every game now will come to PC," Hermen says. "In my mind, Horizon Zero Dawn was just a great fit in this particular instance. We don’t have plans for day and date [PC releases], and we remain 100% committed to dedicated hardware."

As for the reasoning he adds, "I think it’s important that we stay open to new ideas of how to introduce more people to PlayStation, and show people maybe what they’ve been missing out on."
