In a recent financial call, Ubisoft announced that the highly anticipated South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been delayed yet again. No new date has been provided outside a vague "FY18" window. Which refers to anytime between April 2017 - March 2018. Originally slated for a 2016 release, that was pushed back to allow for more time to get it right. This new delays cites similar reasons.
Here's the statement,
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will now launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in FY18. The teams at South Park and Ubisoft San Francisco are committed to pushing the envelope during development to deliver the best experience possible, and this additional time will allow them to do so.
Now, we're all for getting the best game possible, but as fans of the first South Park RPG outing, Stick of Truth, we've been waiting patiently for this one for a while now. And the new superhero setting looks incredibly fun.
