And as per the trailer that dropped overnight it looks damn cool, the entire Hitman 3 sandbox experience but played in VR, from a first-person perspective with full 3D-movements and motion controls. Though we're not sure if what we see here would be, you know, actually playable in that full 3D movement in VR is a recipe for motion sickness -- hence the teleport control and room-space-only freedom seen in most VR titles.

Still, Hitman 3's VR mode -- which will be supporting PSVR at launch -- looks awesome. Sandbox stealth and action, and some Agent 47 tourism.

HITMAN 3 takes immersion to the next level with PSVR. HITMAN has always been about immersing yourself in a living, breathing world. A world filled to the brim with interesting characters, secrets, and opportunities. But you’ve never experienced it like this…

Here's hoping the VR support hits PC too. Meanwhile Hitman 3 will be out later this month on January 20 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC. On the next-gen consoles it will support 4K 60fps.
