Solve the mystery of poor Sire Denathrius who was murdered at his own dinner party, as Hearthstone's latest expansion presents a dark, gloomy, and fun Murder at Castle Nathria case to solve. Don't worry though, Murloc Holmes is on the case. With 135 new cards including Legendary Suspects, a new Location card type, and the new 'Infuse' Keyword, it's set to launch August 3.
The Shadowlands is normally where souls go after they die, so when someone dies in the Shadowlands, that’s a special kind of mystery. Sire Denathrius invited 10 of his counterparts and enemies to Castle Nathria for a dinner party so that he could address the malicious rumors that he is hoarding anima, the life-energy that is drained from tortured souls and used to power the Shadowlands. But just after the festivities started, Sire Denathrius was found dead! It seems a gaggle of enemies does not a good dinner party make. Now the illustrious Murloc Holmes, and his trusty sidekick Watfin, have been called to solve the case. Scour new Location cards, follow the trail of Infused minions, question the 10 Legendary suspects, and help determine who committed Murder at Castle Nathria!
Ten Suspicious Suspects
Each class will be getting a Legendary minion that doubles as a prime suspect in the murder case, with each said to have a means and motive.
New Keyword: Infuse
The new Keyword 'Infuse' takes its inspiration from the recent World of Warcraft: Shadowlands expansion and Anima, that strange force that powers souls. And so how it works is that cards with Infuse will draw power as they sit in your hand, from your minions that fall. The number indicates how many minions need to die before they get their full Infused power - and tranform.
New Card Type: Locations
Murder at Castle Nathria sees the introduction of a brand new card type - Locations. These are locales taken from Warcraft lore, and with their introduction here each class will get a Location card set within Castle Nathria that doubles as a potential murder spot. These are powerful cards that can have their abilities activated for free each turn, with a cost of 1 Durability. And a 1-turn Cooldown.
And to celebrate the new expansion announcement all players will be getting a very special Prince Renathal Legendary minion that will increase your deck size and Health to 40.
