Microsoft has today announced that Halo fans will be soon returning to the familar universe with the announcement of the Halo: Master Chief Collection for Xbox One come November 11th.

Featuring the four mainline Halo titles revamped with HD graphics and intact, original multiplayer, the Halo collection will also include a completely revamped Halo 2: Anniversary edition. Not only will players have access to the original Halo titles, but will also be gaining beta access to 343 Studios Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be available exclusively on Xbox One. Check out the trailer below alongside some brand-new footage of what to expect for Halo 5: Guardians' multiplayer.

Halo 2 & 3 multiplayer on dedicated servers @ 1080p/60fps. That's insane! Hope I heard that right?

Probably eventually but I'm guessing they want to get everyone on the same servers to start off. Nothing new with Halo.

I'm just glad to be able to play Halo 2 multiplayer again. They closed our servers down on Halo 2 PC :(

True Halo had some great multiplayer, but why don't they just make Halo 5 with all the Halo multiplayer and just use the Halo 1-4 as single player games??? Seems like it'll split the franchise up abit across oldschool who played Halo 1-3 and then all the new CoD kiddies in Halo 5. Suppose that may not be a bad thing lol
