Remastered, available to play with an unlocked frame-rate and in 4K, Halo's return to PC is about to begin with the arrival of Halo: Reach and Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Reach being the first game in the series, storytime timeline wise, is also coming to Xbox One with PC set to get all the remaining Halos in 2020.
With Microsoft noting that the releases will arrive in order beginning with Halo: Combat Evolved and going right up until Halo 4. And presumably Halo: Infinite (which of course won't be part of the collection) - if that's still coming in late 2020.
Here's an updated cinematic look at Halo: Reach - and yeah, it looks crisp and smooth.
Both Halo: Reach and Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be included with Xbox Game Pass for PC, but also sold separately on via the Windows 10 Store and Steam. For more info - head here.
