IGN are reporting that Metroid-vania style action-platformer Guacamelee! will be making its way to Steam for PC, and bringing with it not just the base game but also a bundle of new goodies in its "Gold Edition."

Previously launched on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in early April, developer DrinkBox Studios will be launching the PC-friendly title on August 8th alongside two DLC packs – the Costume Pack and The Devil’s Playground - in the Gold Edition. The Steam version will also be bringing a number of functionality changes including Steam Trading Cards, Achievements, leaderboards, cloud saving, and more.

As a bonus for those who purchase the new Guacamelee! Gold Edition in the first week, you'll also gain a copy of DrinkBox Studios' previous title, Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, completely free of charge.
