GRID Autosport Trailer Showcases Endurance Racing

Codemasters' latest trailer for the recently announced GRID Autosport offers a look at the game's execution of another racing discipline - endurance racing:
It's the dead of night and the illumination of the starting straight fades into the background, track lighting is at a minimum and the headlights from your competitors shine into the night. The brake lights in front appear, a set of red eyes staring your headlights down. Then they vanish. The car in front runs wide and finds itself in the gravel runoff, you're in first place and now you're all alone.

Welcome to Endurance Racing in GRID Autosport!
An official blog post goes into more detail on how the dev team are bringing endurance racing to GRID with races up to 40 minutes long and 12 player multiplayer, rolling starts and a focus on night time racing.

GRID Autosport is coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on June 27th 2014.

Grid 2 has impressive visuals on pc but it was too arcadey for me. This is looking good even if it is closer to Forza 5 handling. Still think GT6 is an excellent game. If this is close to those two I'm in for sure.

Well they've certainly got vehicles sliding as a feature of the game. Too much, TBH.
