As promised Rockstar Games have dropped the first trailer for the recently announced Grand Theft Auto V. Unlike their previous game reveals, this debut video doesn't disclose much about characters, focusing only on the city which, as rumored, appears to be a return to the series' faux-Los Angeles, Los Santos.
There's also no mention of the launch platforms or release window, but we're going to at least assume it's being tooled for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It does however provide a look at the graphical improvements which are a cut above it's predecessor, and the narrator -- and likely primary player character -- sounds like a white American male, as opposed to the boys n' the hood of the last visit to Los Santos in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Let's hope there's more to come in weeks rather than months and that this wasn't just a long-view reveal attempting to take some wind out of the soon-to-launch competition.
