Though if you've been waiting to jump back into Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online with fancy new visuals and faster loading times on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X you'll have to wait until March 2022. The announcement cam as part of the PlayStation Showcase from earlier this morning, alongside a new trailer.

Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online will now arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S March 2022, featuring a range of technical and graphical improvements across the entire experience including performance enhancements for select vehicles in GTA Online, and so much more.

In addition to upgraded visuals being able to seamlessly switch between characters via the fast SSD storage of the latest consoles will be very cool -- and a massive improvement over the game's original debut back in 2013.

A standalone version of GTA Online is also coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S in March -- with Rockstar offering PlayStation Plus members in-game currency to the value of $1,000,000 every month for the PlayStation 4 version ountil the March 2022 launch.
