Ubisoft have just revealed their foray into the world of free-to-play gaming with Ghost Recon Online.
With Ghost Recon Online, Ubisoft is delivering the most social, connected and customizable Ghost Recon experience yet. The game offers players the ability to choose between three different classes of Ghost, customize their weapons, deploy cutting-edge military technology, and share intel with their team. Ghost Recon Online also features a rich lobby platform for hosting social and persistent progression features. Ubisoft also will back the game with a full set of services, including regular events and game content updates, customized content based on community feedback, and live support.
The game is completely separate to Ghost Recon: Future Solider, and will be entirely built for the PC. We'll have a trailer and other media up for it shortly, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, sign up for the beta by clicking here.

Update: check out the trailer embedded below, or click here for the HD option.

3 things I don't really care about in my online games, but the original Ghost Recon I thought was awesome, even though I didn't get much mileage out of it. Be interesting to see how it turns out

Yep loved the original games Trog, Advanced Warfighter was really good once you got going with it too.

The original Ghost Recon was great and every Ghost Recon game since has flopped because UBI doesn't listen to the community.

This will fail just as hard.
