In most coverage of Ghost Recon Future Soldier, a lot of attention has been given the the future-tech load-outs, tactical gameplay and multiplayer components, but Ubisoft want to remind us that there's a deep narrative component in-store as well and have sent along a new trailer and developer Q&A.
The "Documentary" trailer embedded below (or here in our video library) is narrated by one of these so-called future soldiers, describing the job that they do. The lengthy Q&A can be found here on AusGamers in its entirety and goes into great detail about the game's setting and antagonists, explaining the thought processes and inspirations behind those choices and much more.
Ghost Recon Future Soldier is due on May 24th 2012 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with PC to follow on June 14th.
I'm on the fence with this game, recently my brother and myself have been playing the original Ghost Recon / Desert Siege / Island Thunder and recently found a great mod but are yet to try. If anyone is up for a game we run it over hamachi and play co-op firefight 60 enemies.
I think I'll wait for the review with this game though, it looks nice but I think the tactical feel is gone.
