And if this Samurai game from Sony first-party Sucker Punch wasn't on your radar before, it definitely will be now. A love letter to the cinematic look and feel of Kurosawa classics paired with a stunning open-world action-adventure. One that comes alive with the movement of wind. Covering exploration, combat, customisation, and more - this in-depth look at PlayStation 4 exclusive Ghost of Tsushima is something to savour.
And it arrived overnight as part of the latest PlayStation 'State of Play'. Check it out.
The HUD-free presentation is, well, beautiful. The little touches of using the wind to guide you to points of interest and following animals and birds to discover shrines and hidden locations are wonderful. And it's all wrapped up with action that looks stellar, capturing the look and feel of classic Samurai films. From the blood splatter of Lone Wolf and Cub to the overly dramatic death sequences that sees fallen Samurai pause for moment before dropping to the ground. Ghost of Tsushima launches on PlayStation 4 on July 17.
