NVIDIA's cloud streaming service
GeForce NOW coming to LG TVs is a very cool addition, especially when you consider that it provides access to RTX 3080-grade PC hardware to play/stream games.
The premiere cloud gaming platform is available in Australia,
via Pentanet, with a free plan offering time-based access. It's the subscription version that unlocks RTX graphics in titles like the gorgeous
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. GeForce NOW on LG TVs (covering LG 4K OLED, QNED MiniLED and NanoCell TV models) joins the service on NVIDIA SHIELD, Windows PC, macOS, Chrome OS, Android and Safari.
“LG customers are expecting the best when it comes to gaming on a large screen,” said Lee Sang-woo, senior vice president of corporate business strategy at LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company. “Partnering with NVIDIA to bring GeForce NOW to LG TV owners is a sign of our commitment to deliver the best gaming experience on LG TVs running webOS.”
