South Park! Ghost Recon: Wildlands! The Crew: Calling All Units! Steep! For Honor! All new looks at Ubisoft's 2016 lineup. Fresh from Gamescom. Plus, something called the Nosulus Rift, a new virtual device that lets you smell the farts in South Park: The Fractured but Whole.
First up is the hilarious South Park: The Fractured but Whole which has gotten a new trailer showcasing more gameplay. And more jokes. This looks every bit as funny as The Stick of Truth, and for those that played that game, this is probably very high on your most anticipated list for this year. South Park: The Fractured but Whole is out December 6.
Oh, and as far as the Nosulus Rift goes, that'll only be available at select events before the game launches. And it sounds suitably crazy.
Developed by Productman, with the assistance of various experts, including the famous French perfume specialist Isabelle Ferrand, the Nosulus Rift is a fully functional mask using sensors activated through inaudible soundwaves within the in-game fart sound. Each time the sensors are activated, they trigger the odour’s puff. Meticulously and without mercy.
Next up comes the announcement of The Crew: Calling All Units a new expansion coming to Ubisoft's open-world driving game later this year. Which naturally introduces the law with new cops versus racers gameplay.
Next up we've got sports! Winter sports to be exact. Extreme winter sports to be even more exact. Steep, which has been given a release date of December 2, feels timely. In the sense that it seems like forever since we've had a decent snowboarding game. And with a huge mountain to explore and race down Steep looks pretty impressive.
The latest trailer for the medieval melee combat spectacular For Honor focuses on showcasing the different fighting styles of the Viking, Samurai, and Knight factions.
And finally, the latest bit of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is less of a look at the game itself and more of a display of the different types of camo you'll get to don. And what sort of scopes will fit on your weapons. Not exactly action-packed stuff, but still, worth a look.
