From Software's highly anticipated follow-up to Dark Souls II, the aptly-titled Dark Souls III, has just got a new gameplay-focused trailer for Gamescom. One where the grim, punishing, and rewarding nature of the revered action-RPG series kind of comes across. More so, the fast-paced action and a fight against a giant skeleton-king boss that looks amazing. And scary.
Dark Souls III also sees the return of director Hidetaka Miyazaki to the series, who mostly sat out development of Dark Souls II as he was working working on Bloodborne at the time.
Dark Souls III is due for release early 2016 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Anyway, this looks truly amazing. Just finished DS2 last night and loving BB too. Very few developers around now that make such quality games like FROM do. This looks dark and evil like a mix of Bloodborne and DS1. Can't wait for this!
