While the focus on Sony's newest Project Morpheus virtual reality headset may be the big talk of GDC, news of smaller changes coming to the PlayStation 4 has come out of the San Francisco event.

In a recent interview with Geoff Keighley and some afterwards tweets, Sony Computer Entertainment's president Shushei Yoshida has revealed that a future update will allow for players to dim their DualShock 4 light bar. Sadly those looking to be completely turn the light bar off won't be seeing that feature anytime soon, the option to at least dim the quite bright light is comforting.

In addition to the light bar dimming, Twitter posts from inFamous: Second Son's studio Sucker Punch suggest that a PlayStation Store update next month may see pre-loading become available for North American gamers. Sadly the studio doesn't know whether this will be pushed outside of the SCEA region, but hopefully we'll hear a more official word soon enough.

Pre-loading meaning players can download most of the game they want before purchase date not drinking before you game.
