And if you've played The Last of Us this will no doubt be chock full of recognisable characters and moments. The TV series, which is coming to HBO (and Foxtel/Binge) in January, is a retelling of the iconic PlayStation/Naughty Dog game from the creator of the brilliant Chernobyl mini-series.

The show stars Bella Ramsey as Ellie and The Mandalorian's Pedro Pascal as Joel. Here's the full 2-minute plus trailer.



And yeah it's looking great, and really sets the tone and direction for the first season. We even get a glimpse at some of the nasty threats and stunning post-apocalyptic locales from the first game. As far as video game adaptation goes this is shaping up to be something quite special.
