Another tasty moment of Microsoft's E3 2012 E3 Media Briefing was the first reveal of actual gameplay footage from the upcoming Forza Horizon, the first venture away from the track for the Xbox's flagship racing franchise.
“Forza Horizon” combines legendary Forza authenticity with a festival atmosphere and the freedom of the open road. Launching this October on Xbox 360, “Forza Horizon” offers an immersive pick-up-and-play open road racing experience and features the unrivaled realism, diversity, and innovation that are hallmarks of the “Forza” franchise.
You can now see it in action for yourselves in the gameplay trailer below (or here in HD), and while you will have to put up with some more of the obligatory dubstep, you'll also get a good look at some of the open road and urban street racing environments they have planned, and even what looks to be a little bit of rally.

Forza Horizon is due on October 23rd 2012, exclusively for Xbox 360.

I'm really looking forward to this. Hopefully there is a lot of smaller roads and not just lots of highways.
