Fortress Melbourne set to open its doors this year, the esports, tabletop, LAN, and entertainment centre in the heart of Melbourne is set to become one of the premiere gaming venues in Australia. With the final stages of setup happening right now, last week Fortress announced that it is partnering with Dell/Alienware for all of its PC related goodness.
The partnership means that the 200-seat main esports arena will be known as the Alienware Arena, with planned the LAN lounge set to sport 150 Alienware Aurora R9 gaming PCs - powered by GeForce RTX 2080 and 2070 SUPER GPUs. So yeah, cutting edge stuff for those looking to game in the heart of the city. Alienware will also be supplying all peripherals and displays too so visually the venue will look sleek.
