Excluding China, which the press release we received pointed out. That said, the recent Fortnite World Cup was a massive success with a peak concurrent viewer count of over 2.3 million people across YouTube and Twitch. The finals presented the culmination of weeks of worldwide attention and competition, with both the Solo champion and Duos champions each earning a staggering $3 million in prize money.

The Fortnite World Cup took place in New York City in front of a packed crowd of 19,000 fans over three days. 16 year old American player Bugha stormed the Solo Finals on Day 3 in exciting fashion to take the crown, with Europeans Nyhrox and Aqua taking the Duos Finals on Day 2. For the full list of standings - head here. For those interested ANX representation ended with Sozmann coming in 68th place in Solo and hype and serpennt coming 18th place in Duos.

Here's highlights from Day 3 - covering the Solo competition. With 100 players all competing, no doubt this makes it something of a spectacle. And definitely very cool to watch.
