Finished Hideo Kojima's cryptic spooky P.T. demo and need some more scares? You are in luck, as creative horror game Five Nights at Freddy's has arrived on Steam, ready to scare you silly.
The premise of the game is simple: survive five nights at a children's entertainment center named Freddy's. The problem? Well, you are being hunted by horrific animatronic animals that by day play their electronic instruments, but come night are after your blood. If these animals spot you during the night, they'll think you are out of costume and take that as an excuse to make a mess of you.
Luckily, you can prevent your death by utilising a handful of direct feeds from various cameras plotted around the center. Like Doctor Who's famous Weeping Angels, these machines only move when you aren't looking so don't blink. The problem is your manager is stingy on electricity, so you'll have to manage the feeds, the lights outside your office and the steel doors to stop these monsters from eating your guts, all on one power source.
Five Nights at Freddy's is available at a price tag of $4.99 through Steam. It is also available through Desura, where it originally premiered.
