The recent PC release of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered has opened the flood gates to mods, from switching out a playable Spider-Man with Kermit the Frog (if you haven't seen it be sure to watch it right now) to this bit of fan service. A mod that answers the question of what it would look like web-swinging in first-person.

If you answered, very cool but kind of like an intensely stomach-churning roller-coaster, you're spot on.



This mod was created by jedijosh920 though it's not yet available on his Nexus Mods page, but it's an impressive example of the difference that going from third-person to first-person can make. Although watching Spider-Man flip and spin is a little too much, the sense of speed and movement adds a new dimension to swinging through New York City. The next step would be making this a VR experience, for that extra dose of roller coaster thrill.
