The modern military shooter might be wearing a bit thin in the games industry these days, but it doesn't stop the war machine from turning. Taking what appears to be business cues from Activision, EA has announced a new Medal of Honor game this year, tagged "Warfighter", set to release on PS3, PC and Xbox 360 in October - the same month Battlefield 3 released last year.
Running off DICE's epically powerful Frostbite 2.0 engine and developed wholly by DangerClose studios, Medal of Honor: Warfighter does indeed look impressive, though we're yet to see anything from the fine folk at Treyarch whose Call of Duty entry this year is yet to rear its head (we think we'll know more very soon though).
Watch the Medal of Honor: Warfighter reveal trailer embedded below, and stay tuned for more on game coming very soon, right here on AusGamers.
Another game set in a jungle theme, boring. Done to death
I got no issues with jungle shooters, don't feel like it's done to death. Also if you look at the world map at the end of the vid you will see a bunch of locations highlighted, not all remote jungles.
I've already been tricked into buying this pos game (the last MOH that gave you exclusive early beta access to BF3 which happened to be only 2 days earlier than the public beta)...
I enjoyed the last MOH (lol). Preferred the simpler multiplayer (f*** the perks of COD) but the singleplayer was pretty lame and buggy. Still some good fun to be had sliding and using pistol which had unlimited ammo (IIRC).
Feel sorry to the poor bastard that gave me $5 for my BF3 early access beta, then the public beta opened a day or 2 later.

You would be surprised how much jungle there is on this Earth.
