But as it includes what will be optional 4K assets when the full version releases next month, it clocks in at an impressive 21GB. Both Square Enix and Nvidia have been talking up this version of the game for quite some time now, and for good reason - the PC version features a number of visual improvements. So much so that it will require a beast to max it out.
Here's the release trailer which again highlights the visual bells and whistles coming to Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition.
So what sort of rig will you need to get this running at Ultimate Quality? Which admittedly looks impressive even in a compressed YouTube trailer? Well something with an Intel Core i7-7700 (3.6GHz or higher) or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X (3.6GHz or higher) and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. Which will get you Final Fantasy XV at 4K 30fps. With HDR 10 support too.
Going by the specs (and the fact that the demo is still downloading for us) our own AusGamers 3000 PC should be able to handle this at 1440p with minimal issues.
Final Fantasy XV will make its PC debut March 7 on Steam, the Windows Store, and Origin. You can check out the demo here.
