With Square Enix partnering with Nvidia to introduce some of the PC graphics company's cutting edge NVIDIA GameWorks technology. That means 4K textures, improved volumetric effects, fancy new grass and hair tech, and a lot more stuff exclusive to the PC release. Which is on track for release in early 2018.

Indeed, and Final Fantasy XV for PC will be going all in on Nvidia tech with Nvidia Flow, HairWorks, ShadowWorks, Turf Effects, VXAO all being utilised in the port.
