Taking to their twitter, the team behind the upcoming action game Far Cry 3 has announced that the game has now gone gold, and will be releasing on November 29th. The team also let those on PC know that it will be released simultaneously on all platforms, unlike previous Ubisoft titles like Ghost Recon Future Soldier or Assassin's Creed 3 which have had delayed launches.
Far Cry 3 has gone gold. Pick it up Nov. 29th in EU, Nov. 30th in The UK, Dec. 4th in NA. Far Cry 3 will be released across all platforms at the same time, including PC.
The team also noted how difficult it was getting the simultaneous platforms, saying that "it's never an easy task, however we thank our PC fans for their patience. Enjoy Far Cry 3!"
Far Cry 3 will be available on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 29th. For those looking to pass the time, Ubisoft recently released a Minecraft map pack which features the islands in Far Cry 3, including more than 50 easter eggs, which you can find
locally here.

Maybe I'm just bitter and cynical, but that just makes me think "We had to rush the PC version out the door so please be patient while we patch up all the problems".
