Pretty much everything you need to know is in the title there, but true to the annual QuakeCon specials that roll out of the event (taking place this weekend, and we have a man on the ground), Bethesda has revealed all the post-apocalypse you can eat until November's Fallout 4.

Coming to Australia on October 1st:
Fallout Anthology features five critically-acclaimed games and official add-ons in a premium collectible set, with a space reserved to add your copy of Fallout 4. This ultimate collectible is packaged together in an exclusive mini-nuke storage case with audible bomb sound.

This Fallout collection includes:
  • Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition
    • The Pitt
    • Operation: Anchorage
    • Broken Steel
    • Point Lookout
    • Mothership Zeta
  • Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition
    • Dead Money
    • Honest Hearts
    • Old World Blues
    • Lonesome Road
    • Gun Runners' Arsenal
    • Courier's Stash
  • Fallout Tactics
  • Fallout 2
  • Fallout
The space for Fallout 4 bit is interesting too. Even if you already have one or two of the above, is the full collection something you might be willing to buy into?

I'm pretty sure you can get all of them except F4 for like $2-$6 during sales, and F4 would presumably be something like $50 at release, then cheaper in time.

They give you a "space" for Fallout 4 but do they actually give you Fallout 4?

But yeah you never really get value for money with these sorts of collector edition things.

Pretty sure I have all that from Steam sales for about $20...

I imagine the price reflects that it comes in a mini-nuke collector's case - so it's a physical collection of the games (sorry, added the image in the OP now).

I'm hoping Fallout 3 has been optimised for current operating systems. If so then I'll certainly get it.

What was the story with New Vegas? Wasn't it released by another company?

Nah, released by Bethesda but developed by Obsidian, still used all the Fallout 3 assets.

Scored a pip boy edition for on of my sons and the normal game release for me and the other son...we are HUGE Fallout fans...can not wait, all our computers have been upgraded and we are rearing to go. Cost me a fortune but hey its important isn't it!?

We are all running very healthy water cooled rigs with GTX 980ti's ( the younger son has a 970) all with good cpus cranked ready, locked and loaded...we are going to be missing in this game for months! Can not wait..even have some very cool Fallout t shirts coming from US for us to all wear when we go up to EB and get our s***!!

heheh Spook thought I might drop in because FO4 has me so excited its not funny.

Know anyone who needs a couple of very nice vid cards, that needs them, a worthy cause so to speak? (a new gamer on a budget ect..).. I have a couple of Gainward Phantom 3gig GTX580 vid cards in excellent condition to give away, sli connector etc..they still kick arse even with recent games even though they are like 3+ yrs old.....

let me know...
