Sad news arrives today, as one of the top industry concept artists, Adam Adamowicz, whose work includes the recent The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 3, among others, passed away after losing a battle with cancer.

Joystiq points us in the direction of an in-depth piece talking about Adam's impact on the industry over at Awesome Robo, which talks about how his work inspired other concept artists (including the feature's author, RoboBrian) and also showcases a number of amazing pieces from his art collection.

Not your everyday 'draw me a cool picture for my cool story bro' talent. I didn't even play his games (does watching the video count as having experienced it?) but no doubt the creative genius he gifted to his publishers and audience will live on in their hearts and minds like echo's in eternity.
