Fall Guys is going free on June 21 and coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox on top of PlayStation and PC (where its new home will be the Epic Games Store). As a relaunch for the popular party game, the new Free For All edition will also support cross-play across all platforms and cross-progression. Very cool.

In addition to this, a free update to the game supporting faster load times and other performance upgrades is coming to the PlayStation 5 version (and presumably Xbox Series X|S edition).

For existing players on PlayStation and Steam (PC), you'll still get all updates going forward, but the Epic Games Store will be the place for new players to jump in on PC. An Epic Games Account will be used for cross-play and cross-progression. Veteran players will also receive a special Legacy Pack including a nickname, nameplate, Regal costume, Veggie Dog costume, and Feisty Dwarf costume. Plus a Season Pass for the brand-new Season 1 coming.

Going free-to-play means the introduction of a new in-game currency called Show-Bucks with the Season Pass described as a "a supercharged version of our free progression path".
