2K and Turtle Rock have flipped the switch on the Evolve Open Beta on Xbox One. From now through Tuesday, January 20th you'll be able to participate in the open beta and try to hunt (or be hunted) that pesky beast.

The open beta includes eight hunters and two monsters (Goliath and Kraken). If you pre-purchase the game digitally though, you can gain access to the third set of hunters and the third monster (Wraith). Unfortunately, that seems to be having some issues according to the official Twitter account. Those not on the Xbox One but happen to own Left 4 Dead or BioShock: Infinite on PC will be happy to know that they too can participate in this weekend's beta. This “closed technical test” begins at 3:00 AM AEsT on Saturday January 17 (that’s tomorrow) and will probably run until Tuesday like the Xbox One beta.

Look for “Evolve [Closed Beta]” in your Steam library and pre-load now ahead of 3:00 AM. The download weighs in at a crazy 23GB so don't delay.
