And we don't say that lightly, even though the game itself presents as lightly. If you catch our drift.

Ahem.

While Evil West from Hard Reset developer, Flying Wild Hog was shown this time last year in teaser trailer form, this year we've been given a glimpse at gameplay, and it looks as fun and as engaging as its title suggests. And then some.

Here's what publisher Focus Home Interactive had to say about the show-opening trailer:
Wield a deadly arsenal to destroy the creatures of darkness

Get a thunder-packed uppercut of adrenaline in today’s trailer with fast-paced and visceral third-person combat. Paint your lightning-fueled gauntlet with monster blood using brutal combos as you blast your way through various weird west locations. Face hulking abominations, screeching monstrosities, and ancient vampires and ram them all back to hell one piece at a time in spectacular boss fights and encounters.
Honestly, this one still sticks personally in my mind alongside the likes of Hellblade II: Senua's Saga and Alan Wake 2 as the best of the show.
