Which is one for the art lovers out there. This collection of games is all pixel art-based from developer Deconstructeam and features unique spins on videogames, and storytelling in general, in one big package full of extra goodies including a new mini doco about each game, created specifically for this collection.
For the game-curious out there, here's a small teaser from the folks at Devolver Digital who've supported this endeavour:
Deconstructeam’s delightful collection of narrative-driven curiosities, Essays on Empathy, is available now on PC via Steam. Bringing together 10 of the critically acclaimed studio’s short meditations on life, love and death, Essays on Empathy includes a wealth of supplemental material, including sketches, design insights and new mini documentary created specially for the collection, along with more than 2 hours of original music by the team’s composer Paula Ruiz, aka fingerspit.
Now, it's available today, but if you need more convincing, watch the trailer embedded below.
