And by extension... the hit multiplayer
It's a Knockout riff,
Fall Guys. To add a little context to the megahit, the team developing Fall Guys has grown from 35 to now over 150 developers. Published by Devolver Digital the move to Epic Games doesn't look to be changing the state of things -- with the game to remain on both Steam and PlayStation as is.
Naturally, being under the large umbrella of Epic (an epic umbrella if you will) will give Mediatonic the ability to "accelerate our plans to improve the game and bring Fall Guys to as many players as possible, while continuing to support the community".
Fall Guys is also headed to Nintendo Switch and Xbox this year, and with the game adopting the seasonal model for new mini-games and cosmetics and progression -- it's a statement that definitely rings true. As for the free-to-play question the team at Mediatonic hasn't ruled out that possibility either.
Finally, with the game hitting more and more platforms we'd love Epic to step in and help the team add cross-play.
