Ubisoft is calling for players to join in testing its upcoming strategy MMO Tom Clancy's EndWar Online. A teaser trailer heralds the start of a so-called 'technical test phase' this week, which will precede a more traditional closed beta test.
Showcasing footage of massive armies assembling in preparation for battle, the teaser marks the official start of the technical test phase, codenamed Tech Assault. During Tech Assault players will be able to access to the game for a three day test period before the game’s Closed Beta. Choose between the European Federation Enforcer Corps or Russia’s Spetsnaz Guard and lead their troops into battle.
Commanders interested in helping test EndWar Online can enlist for Tech Assault and for the upcoming Closed Beta at www.endwaronline.com Tech Assault will begin February 27 and run until February 30.
Developed by Ubisoft Shanghai, Tom Clancy’s EndWar Online is a Tactical and Strategic MMO with next gen browser technology that delivers an unrivaled gameplay experience. Set after the fall out of EndWar, players will lead a faction in the fight for control over what is left of the world’s resources. Players can engage in numerous single player missions or put their skills to the test in intense player vs. player challenges for Earth’s remaining resources.
The trailer below is mostly just wartime imagery, but there is a brief glimpse of gameplay you might catch if you don't blink.
