With the recent announcement that playing the game for any amount of time will make you eligible to win $1 million USD (sadly though, this competition excludes Australian players), it now looks like Elder Scrolls Online is going free to play. But, only for a weekend. This coming weekend. Available to Xbox One, PC, and Mac users, the free to play period will run from December 10 through to Monday December 14. And through that time the game and in-game currency will all be heavily discounted.
Bethesda has noted that it is also currently speaking with Sony to offer up a similar deal in the near future for PS4 users. With the game on console coming in at a hefty 60GB, you'll certainly need the bandwidth to take advantage of this offer.
The Elder Scrolls Online recently received its Orsinium DLC which you can check out the trailer for below.
Man they really didn't make it clear how the f*** you take part in this. Looking at their site has just made me more confused, some multi vertical page scroll thing about the DLC. Whoever invented full pages in vertical scroll with minimal information for web design is literally worse than Hitler.
