ReedPop (PAX, Star Wars Celebration, and New York Comic Con) is partnering with the ESA to bring E3 2023 to the Los Angeles Convention Center in the second week of June 2023. And with the event set to be for "publishers, developers, journalists, content creators, manufacturers, buyers, and licensors" it's sounding very much like the E3 of old.
Which could mean several big showcase presentations and on the floor access to new game announcements and more. With the announcement, ReedPop and the ESA are already teasing "AAA reveals" and "earth-shaking world premieres", which is very cool to see. E3 is one of those events, or
the event, that has made June the month of big reveals and announcements for games and console hardware.
“For years, we’ve listened, heard, and studied the global gaming community’s feedback," Kyle Marsden-Kish, ReedPop Global VP of Gaming said. "E3 2023 will be recognisably epic, a return to form that honors what’s always worked—while reshaping what didn’t and setting a new benchmark for video game expos in 2023 and beyond.”
“We are thrilled to bring back E3 as an in-person event with ReedPop, a global leader in producing pop culture events.” Stanley Pierre-Louis, President and CEO of the ESA added. “The past three years have confirmed that E3 convenes our industry like no other event. ReedPop brings world-class talent and a keen understanding of the video game industry, which will serve to enhance the E3 experience for years to come.”
Media and other registration is set to go live later in the year, with the
official E3 site to also be updated with exhibitor info, guides, and schedules in the months to come.
