At the Microsoft Xbox briefing Bethesda Game Studios and Todd Howard was on hand to debut a new look at Fallout 76. Confirming that it is indeed a prequel and that it will be set in West Virginia. Also, the map size will be four times that of Fallout 4 - making it the biggest game in the Fallout universe to date.

And it looks, well, awesome.

As per the teaser players will take on the role of some of the first Vault survivors to venture back into the wasteland. Where new threats await. Like giant flying mutated bats.
