In Japan, Monster Hunter is a big deal. Huge even. With it selling by the truckload for handheld and Nintendo consoles. And now the series is making its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early 2018 -- with a PC release to follow.

Sporting a more realistic look for the series, and visuals that take advantage of more powerful hardware, the concept of "becoming the ultimate hunter" and playing in co-op, remains unchanged.

Monster Hunter World comes from Capcom.
