Destiny 2, Bungie's follow-up to the online sci-fi shooter has a PS4 and Xbox One release date of September 6. And now you can add October 24 for the PC version to the list, with the game up for pre-order on Battle.net. Also emerging from E3, and new trailer, beta details and a look at the PlayStation 4 exclusive content.

Once again the new trailer sells the cinematic ambitions for Destiny 2, a sore point for many with the original. And it definitely looks like it's going to deliver in that department.

For those that pre-order Destiny 2 the beta details are as follows, depending on platform:

  • PlayStation 4 - Commencing July 19 at 3.00 am AEST
  • Xbox One - Commencing July 20 at 3.00 am AEST
  • PC - Sometime late August

In addition to the above a Public Beta is also scheduled to commence for the weekend of July 21.

As with the original Destiny 2 will feature a bunch of exclusive PlayStation 4 content, in the form of a Strike, PvP map, weaponds, skins, and more. with all content having timed-exclusivity until late 2018.

As a multi-platform title, we're not sure what to make of this, especially with Destiny 2 making its PC debut.
