Since it was first revealed a month ago with an absolutely stunning teaser trailer, we've all been waiting patiently to get an extended look at the World War 1 epic Battlefield 1. And with the game taking center stage at EA's E3 conference early this morning a new in-game cinematic trailer debuted. And, it didn't disappoint.
Without a doubt the historical setting for the next Battlefield feels fresh. And with the genre rarely if ever going as far back to the first World War, getting to see biplanes zipping around, tanks face off against horses, and large guns carve their way through trenches is breathtaking. Check it out!
Historical accuracy aside, this is very much a game about fun and large-scale sandbox multiplayer. Destruction, which has played a major role in the Battlefield franchise for a number of years now, seems to be taken up a notch here, as seen with the simply jaw-dropping image of a large flaming air ship crashing into a village.
Battlefield 1 will be out October 21 for Xbox One, PC, and PS4. Which puts its release a week before EA's other big shooter for the holiday period, Titanfall 2. Which is out October 28.
