Going into its E3 conference this year Microsoft boldly predicted that what it would show would be the greatest line-up in Xbox history. As to whether or not that ended up being true might be up for debate, but they definitely came out swinging. Halo 5, Gear of War 4, Rise of the Tom Raider, Fable Legends, Forza 6, and more led its exclusive charge. Click through to see them all in action.

Yeah, yeah. We've already mentioned Halo 5: Guardians, but here's the campaign demo again. Because it kicked things off. And, it looks pretty cool.

Closing out the Xbox showing this year was a gameplay reveal for Gear of War 4. For the most part the demo is strangely dark and moody, but definitely looks to be in the spirit of the beloved, and very macho, franchise. Gear 4 is due Holiday 2016.

As expected Rise of the Tomb Raider is looking fantastic, and looks to be as adrenaline fueled and brilliant as the first outing. But this time with added snow storms, which look incredible. Rise of the Tomb Raider is set for release on November 10. A date that puts the game right up against Fallout 4. Oh cruel, cruel world (filled with awesome games coming out)!

Is that Cersei Lannister narrating the trailer for the Windows 10 and Xbox One cross-platform game Fable Legends? Sure is. The jury seems to be out on this latest Fable adventure, with just about everyone playing the 'wait and see' game. Even though it does look pretty solid.

When announcing Forza 6, Microsoft lowered a fancy Ford GT sports car from the ceiling of the auditorium. Because well, they can. Forza 6 looks to carry the series' tradition of realistic racing, sporting improved visuals and a rock-solid 1080p 60FPS presentation. Forza 6 is due September 15 and will feature a lot of cars, a lot of tracks, and a lot of different types of weather.

And to cap it all off in typical Microsoft fashion, a montage!

Seeing the Tomb Raider footage was bittersweet, since the wait is that much longer for the PC release... :(

Xbox Exclusive, wow, do people actually say "I need to play that so much right now I have to buy a whole new gaming system!"?

I don't think this new series of Tomb Raider is strong enough to warrant that kind of marketing, so it just seems like the Xbox people are paying to troll us.

Why is nobody talking about that Minecraft demo with the Hololens? That s*** was f*****g amazing, that impressed me more than any rote game announcement trailer ever could. We're officially living in the future people!
