Bethesda have debuted some more gameplay of Arkane Studio's Dishonored in a brief demo over on G4TV.

Presenter Morgan Webb chats with developers Raphael Colantonio and Harvey Smith who demonstrate a new section of the game that doesn't seem to feature any actual objectives, but does show off some of the special abilities and movement and attack options geared to helping players navigate environments in a stealthy fashion.

Watch the embedded clip below to see for yourself and if you want to skip the broadcast-friendly small talk just get to the gameplay, jump to around 01:10 for the goods.

Well you do see multiple objectives update but other than that you don't seem them complete an objective though I imagine the Pendletons there are in for a hard time lol

Gameplay is looking good, too bad they showed it on Xbox and not on PC but the gameplay shuoldn't vary overly. Quite interested in the differences between the abilities - the time freeze/slowing and then simultaneously popping the evil bobby and flunky looked great as does the spirit jumping/teleport.

Possession looks like it's fun, it makes me recall Messiah fondly. Hearing Raph and Harvey mention that the game can be played through entirely as stealth is also a great thing to hear for those of us who like to play with that style (all the Thief fans out there).

Also good to see Harvey mention Arx Fatalis as something he is a big fan of (when mentioning those style of RPG's) so I guess the question that someone needs to post for Raph is - when is Arx 2 coming?

This is one of the few games that has been on my 'definite buy list' for the past 3 years or so.

Takes me back to the original Fallout. Completed that game as a super intelligent charismatic guy who never touched a gun or other weapon get won via wits alone.
