At a mysterious round-table event with Nintendo, Ubisoft have come out and detailed five titles they're currently developing for the freshly announced Wii U console. The games include:
- An unnamed Assassin’s Creed game
- Raving Rabbids
- Ghost Recon Online
- a “multi-sport” title
- Killer Freaks from Outerspace
Ubi went into some detail during the Q&A around the various games, talking about how the Wii U controller will play into some games, including how you can control unmanned assault vehicles in Ghost Recon on the touch screen or use the much touted "play on the controller" feature in several of the titles. Details on the Assassin's Creed title were scant, however there was talk of using the controller's screen to show the eagle eye view, maps, display puzzles or have an interactive database; All things they're experimenting with.
The only new IP amongst all of this was
Killer Freaks from Outerspace, a first-person shooter set amongst an invasion of aliens from outer space landing in London and sounding more than just a bit like Resistance. It's still in early days, but the trailer suggests you'll play a conspiracy nut behind a camcorder out to save the world (and no, the aliens aren't Rabbids).
