Dust 514 Dated for May 14 2013, New Trailer Explores Eve Universe Origins

After a rather long beta process, CCP Games' free-to-play, PlayStation 3 exclusive shooter Dust 514 now has an official launch date. The May 14th 2013 date (5/14 if you write your date like a colonial) was announced by way of the game's official twitter feed (thanks ShackNews).

A new trailer has also been released celebrating a decade of Eve Online, and exploring some origin thematics of the EVE Universe that bridges the long-running MMO with the new Dust 514 shooter.
From the beginnings of the EVE Universe, its inhabitants were born into chaos, forever struggling to create order only to write a new chapter of discord in the annals of history. Rising, clashing, and discovering, just to fall again as the machinations of their efforts and ambitions extend beyond their control.

It is into this vicious cycle that you are now reborn, the capsuleers and mercenaries that decide the fate of an entire universe, changing the future and altering the course of all that will be... forever.
